realised something.
chat bout marriage with a friend today.
she say she wanted a bf.
and of cos the tiao jian.
so i ask her why so serious. wanna married?
her answer was yes.
i'm shocked.
she's from tjc.
good future ahead.
she hope to settle down before 25.
even more shock.
i believe people who wants to settle down early will want to have children. so i confirmed with her.
she say: why not?!
i'm really really shocked.
i asked if she will work after giving birth.
she said depends on financial.
inside my mind:
there is a possibility that she will not be working before the age of 30?!!!
then why spend so much money on studying?
and time???
if i tell mum this... she will kill me man.
and stop supporting me. haha.
she ask me arent i same.
i was like:
of cos not!!!!!
there are so many fun things that you can do in life.
i haven even thought of settling down so soon.
family culture really matters.
izit my family got problem?
or i too bei guan?
but sis oso got the same thinking as me leh.
i think is the family and things that happen around you.
i mean marriage is nothing big deal. (can say bye bye anytime)
but giving birth is an extremely huge issue. right?
haha.
my conclusion:
the girls around me dun pai ci getting married and giving birth before 30.
which is very different from what i think.
maybe i should try asking the guys.
see what they think.
